3-Day Mat Intensives
Andrew's 3-Day Mat Intensives are designed to encourage practitioners to move deeply into their personal practice. These transformative sessions provide students with an opportunity to connect with their natural intelligence, open the physical body, and clear the mind. These offerings are 3 consecutive days of 2.5 hour practices.
You are the Path
In this series, you’ll explore your relationship to your body, your breath and your mind. The body is your temple and ultimate playing field of life. Opening the body develops your awareness to seamlessly move between internal and external realities, allowing you access to your higher potential. This practice aids to open your body through a challenging and diverse Hatha Yoga sequence, pranayama and guided mediation to strengthen the lungs and centre the mind. This will be an invigorating practice to flush, cleanse and heal the body and mind to leave you feeling blissful and grounded.
Pathways to the Subtle Self
A dynamic Yoga series designed to connect to the natural intelligence of your body and the space of dynamic stillness to clear your mind from distracting thought patterning. We will crave clear pathways of sensation by attuning to the subtle energies of the body, breath and mind. This intensive offers a greater focus on the meditative component of the yoga practice and is geared towards practitioners who are advancing in their meditation practice. Each practice will close with 45-60 minutes of seated meditation.
Fearlessly You
This practice and this beloved life is a playful movement from fear to freedom, and as so, we are courageous warriors overcoming what’s keeping us from our most authentic Self. This practice is inspired by everyone who’s taking the risk of becoming themselves. Explore the nature of fear as an illusion, a barrier, a beloved teacher, and how this practice is the very best tool we have in our process of realization. This intensive is recommended for the advancing student as we will explore intermediate sequencing and find depth in not only the body through asana but through the concentration of the breath and the focus on the mind.
Revealing SATTVA: The 3 Gunas
This 3-day series will explore the Gunas of Prakriti which represent all things and beings in the world. The 3 Gunas being Rajas (active, hot, passionate), Tamas (heavy, dull, depressed) and finally Sattva (balance, harmony, intelligent). Each day we will take on practices (asana, pranayama and meditation) which represent the specific guna. In the final day we will explore the nature of Sattva as the inspiration to the yoga practice.
Meditation Intensive
This 3-part meditation series will introduce different Meditation techniques which are designed to guide an individual to full self realization. The first session will focus on finding comfort of the body, followed by using the breath to consolidate the mind and strengthen attention and finally, developing the pure concentration of the mind to rest into a state of pure authentic bliss. Each session will consecutively build off of the previous technique.
